Llandudno Surf Valentines Beach Picnic

Llandudno Surf Lifesaving Club is a voluntary organisation serving our community and tourists alike by ensuring a safe beach-going environment. There are many facets to lifesaving, including the volunteer lifesaving hours llandudnosurf lifeguards spend on the beach, the competitive “sporting” aspect of the club and of course the social “way-of-life” culture we try and create down on the beach. However, the aspect that we are most proud of is the fact that we have had zero drowning fatalities while our lifeguards have been on active duty.

Part of our success is due to the continued, loyal support we have always received from our community. We would like to thank you!!! Llandudno Surf receives very little government funding and relies largely on fundraising activities, donations and the hosting of events. The proceeds of our fundraising efforts are used to maintain and purchase lifesaving equipment, kit and competition craft, as well as for the upkeep of our clubhouse.
