The Black Review Live is a cinematic and intergenerational gathering by Kidz of Biko, in partnership with Eyethu Heritage Hall, using film and open dialogue to connect Black history with how we understand the present.

For our inaugural edition, we ask:

WHAT DO WE OWE THE GENERATIONS THAT FOUGHT FOR THE FREEDOM WE INHERITED?

We screen Studying Under the Barrel of a Gun, directed by Tebogo Malope, followed by an open audience Review exploring what the film asks of us today.
