What You Will Learn:
Under a guided hand, you will learn the fundamental mechanics of Long-stitch bookbinding:
- Paper Preparation: How to work with paper grain and use professional tools to fold sheets into clean "signatures" (paper booklets).
- Creating the Hardcover: Learn how to accurately measure, cut, and cleanly wrap your greyboard with bookcloth to create a beautiful cover.
- Stitching-In Signatures: Stitch in your handfolded signatures into your custom cover for a beautiful finish.
