ABOUT
Touch The Future Walk · 1st Edition
Walk for Opportunity. Walk for Change.
South Africa's youth unemployment challenge leaves millions of talented young people locked out of economic participation, often because of systemic disconnects and limited professional networks. The Touch The Future Walk is built to bridge that gap: one morning where job seekers, learners, employers, skills providers, government and industry stakeholders walk the same road and connect as people.
The walk is paired with an interactive career expo, so the morning leads to real, meaningful pathways into work and growth.
Choose your distance
- 5KM · The open road. For families, first-timers and anyone who wants to be part of the morning.
- 10KM · The steady stride. A proper morning's walk for regular walkers, teams and colleagues.
- 23KM · The long one. Twenty-three kilometres for 23 January. The challenge route for experienced walkers.
It is a walk, not a race. Go at your own pace.
