What I Learnt from Morocco

As Creative Director of AAFRICAA, Cathy O’Clery has spent more than two decades working with designers, makers and creative entrepreneurs across Africa. On a recent journey through Marrakech and Tangier, she found herself looking at Morocco not just as a traveller, but through the lens of a creative director — noticing colour, texture, architecture, craftsmanship, retail, food, fashion and the small details that make a place feel distinctive.
