Spring Craft Holiday Club

Welcome to the Spring Crafts Holiday Club — where children get to explore, make, and create in a safe, supportive, and inspiring space!

We are now hosting 2 age groups! Fom 3 to 6 years and 7 to 13 years.

Join us under the trees to come and explore a variety of crafts.

A creative and hands-on fun way to spend the school holidays.

Each day offers a different modern homesteading craft or activity for the different age groups. For the older kids, we have crafts ranging from Cane whittling, Leather stool making, and Candle Making to Leather Sandle making and Felt bag making. For the younger group, we will be doing Cane candle holder making, Sedge Caterpillars, Candle making and clay vessels, felting a ball, and looming fibers. Kids will get stuck into hands-on crafts, learn new skills, and take home something they’ve made with their own hands.

The schedule: Younger group 3 - 6 years

1. 28 September 2026 - Cane candle holders, sand and paint some beautiful cane dinner candles
2. 29 September 2026 - Sedge Caterpillars - String together pieces of sedge to make little caterpillars, adding felted eyes and feelers.
3. 30 September 2026 - Candle Making and clay pots - Make little air-dried clay pots and fill them with wax, scents and a wick
4. 1 October 2026 - Felt a ball - Learn to felt a ball that is brightly coloured and soft
5. 2 October 2026 - Looming Fibers- Learn the principles of looming using a variety of colourful and textured fibers

The schedule: Older group 7 - 13 years

1. 28 September 2026 - Leather Sandal Making - Make a simple pair of leather sandals
2. 29 September 2026 - Whittling Cane Rain Sticks - Whittle some cane into a rain stick, hammering pin nails and finishing off leather and wax ends
3. 30 September 2026 - Candle Making - Learn to make 3 different types of candles
4. 1 October 2026 - Leather Stools - Shape the wooden legs and learn a simple leather stitch to make a tripod leather camping chair.
5. 2 October 2026 - Welt Felted bag - Learn to make a round felted bag over a ball, with leather finishes.

How to Book:

1. Select the days you’d like your child to attend (you can book one day or multiple days!)
2. Choose the number of tickets (if booking for siblings)
3. Fill in your child’s details at checkout

Younger group: R480.00 per child

Older group: R580.00 per child

Soup and bread is available at an additional R40.00 per person per day
