The My Ascent Steyn City Fashion Show

My Ascent, together with Steyn City, Auto and General and Tenurey BSM, invites women and their families to an unforgettable VIP afternoon, their first-ever SA-style couture showcase of its kind. Picture an elegant runway, more than eight local and international designers unveiling their collections for a show and shopping experience. Our very own Steyn City ladies bring every piece to life through the fashion show. Then picture what it's really building: real, lasting opportunity for young South Africans who deserve the chance to rise.

Because that's the heart of it. My Ascent exists to give young people something no classroom can, the belief that they can climb whatever stands in front of them, along with the leadership, wellbeing and financial skills to keep climbing. We harness adventure to drive youth education, build digital libraries, and uplift communities in need.

Every ticket changes a life. All proceeds go directly to funding youth in need through the transformative My Ascent programme, and to community initiatives like the new digital library for our neighboring Diepsloot Primary School in partnership with Steyn City. When you take your seat, you're helping the next generation unlock their full potential.

Expect an afternoon of fashion, music, inspiration and meaningful connection, with food, drinks, and a beautiful reason to celebrate together. Doors open from 12pm. Show starts at 2:30pm. Come early and purchase a raffle ticket to get into prize draws and win one of 15 amazing prizes up for grabs.

Wild Thinkers Designathon — Kids' Zone | 3 October, 2–7pm

We haven't forgotten the little ones. Children (toddler to 10 years, each accompanied by an adult) get their own dedicated space. Babies and toddlers enjoy a sensory version with play dough, nature objects and cards. Older kids use "Wild Thinkers" kit to spot real community challenges and build solutions from clay and natural objects in a live designathon workshop. Facilitators from Lefika La Phodiso and UJ Art Therapy guide the fun throughout. Kits are payable on the day via speedpoint.
