FULL MOON HIKE AT MEERENDAL

When the sun goes down, Meerendal looks completely different.

Gather your favourite people and experience the estate after dark — 5km of fresh air, beautiful views, glowing torches and a little full-moon adventure. Whether you walk it with friends, bring the family or simply come for the atmosphere, it’s a wonderful way to spend an evening outdoors.

THE HIKE

• Start: 18:45
• 5km route
• A family friendly easy to medium hike. Not suitable for strollers.

Tickets exclusively through Quicket. No gate sales.

COME PREPARED

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Jacket – evenings can get chilly
• Source of light
• Raincoat if rain is forecasted
• Please leave the doggies at home.

STAY A LITTLE LONGER

The tasting room is open after the hike for a well-earned glass of Meerendal wine.

A takeaway pizza from one of the estate restaurants are permitted in the tasting room.

AND IF THE MOON HIDES

We still hike! The full moon may occasionally disappear behind the clouds, but the night-time adventure continues along our designated route. ????
