ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Dr Chris van der Hoven is the newly appointed CEO of USB-ED. Chris most recently held the position of Academic Director of Wits Business School and prior to that he was a Senior Fellow at Cambridge University and a Senior Lecturer at Cranfield School of Management in the UK. He has also been a visiting academic at 10 different business schools including the Stockholm School of Economics, Kentucky Business School in the US, Nanjing University in China, Paul Cezanne University in France, Mannheim in Germany and Cranfield in the UK. Locally Chris has taught strategy and innovation at UCT GSB and GIBS. Chris has a BSc from the University of Cape Town, MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a PhD from Cambridge University.
