This technique is a durable, professional way to bind single sheets of paper so they open completely flat, making it the absolute gold standard for creating custom journals and repairing paperback books.

In this beginner-friendly class, you will create two complete projects from scratch.

An A6 softcover journal and a A6 hardcover journal.

Beyond creating these beautiful books, you will also learn how to apply these identical techniques to fix, reinforce, and rescue your own personal novels at home.

No previous experience is required, just a love for books and a desire to learn a beautiful, lifelong skill.

What You Will Learn

• The mechanics of the double-fan (Lumbeck) gluing technique for a flexible, permanent spine bond
