ABOUT
Your fave creative hangout is back for another edition of Studio Sessions: a regular spot to slow down, listen to good music, sip, and play alongside a welcoming community. Come for a solo art date, catch up with a friend, or finally finish that project you’ve been putting off.
We supply a shared table with art supplies (pastels, charcoal, pencils, markers, paint, and collage materials), but you are free to do your own thing. Bring your sketchbook, your knitting, or your digital tablet - whatever medium you’re vibing with.
The Theme: EBB & FLOW This session is an exploration of movement and stillness. Inspired by tides, ripples, and water, we invite you to explore how things move, change, retreat, and return. Interpret it literally with waves and flowy forms, or abstractly through fluid marks, colour gradients, and layered textures. There is no right or wrong approach - just let the theme guide your process.
- What's Playing: Organic deep house, downtempo, ambient, soulful jazz.
- How It Works: We provide the prompts, inspiration, and shared studio materials. You choose whether to follow the theme or just use the vibe to inspire your own creation.
The Details
- When: Sunday, 27 September | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (We’re officially making it the last Sunday of every month!)
- Where: Moosh Artspace, 160 Sir Lowry Road, Buchanan Square, Woodstock, Cape Town (The Armoury, Level 4)
- Tickets: R250 (Includes entry, access to shared studio supplies, and a complimentary welcome drink)
- Note: Following our discounted launch session, R250 is our standard ticket price moving forward.
