Join us on Saturday, 7 November 2026, from 10:00–15:00 at Hue Cafe, 24 Campbell Ave, Windermere, Berea, 4001, for a celebration of literature, indigenous knowledge, culture, language and heritage.

This year’s festival is presented under the theme:

“Isintu Sithi, Wena Uthini?”

The theme invites us to reflect on the role of indigenous knowledge, culture, language and heritage in contemporary South African society, while creating a meaningful space for dialogue between generations.

Experience an isiZulu Spelling Bee, literary dialogue, artistic performances, a Deaf Writer & Facilitator session, and intergenerational conversations bringing together young people, authors, artists, educators and cultural practitioners.

The festival is committed to making literature and cultural conversations more accessible, with South African Sign Language (SASL) interpretation provided by SASLI.
