Amber Cup 2026 Tasting Session – The Branch

The Amber Cup is back at The Branch.

Join us in Shelly Beach on Saturday, 26 September for an afternoon of concentrate tasting, community judging, music and catching up with the South Coast canna community.

For the second year, The Branch is KZN's only tasting venue for the Amber Cup. Members and non-members are welcome.

WHAT'S HAPPENING

We'll have a range of music playing throughout the afternoon, including a special playlist from DJ Swampmatix.

The Escape Cart will be serving charcuterie cups and mini pancakes. Food and drinks are available to purchase separately, and our non-smoking patio gives you a place to sit and enjoy them.

Ami Heystek and Joanne Parry from Fields of Green for ALL will be joining us. Come meet other people in the industry and spend time with the local community.

There will also be giveaways and our community colour-in feature.

HOW THE TASTING AND VOTING WORK

Check in inside The Branch with your ticket and valid photo ID, and collect your wristband. Our team will explain the tasting and voting process.

Scan the QR code to open the Amber Cup voting portal, register or log in, then select an entry and rate each category from 1 to 5 stars. Rate the entries you taste and give your own honest impressions. Bring a charged smartphone for voting.
