From Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026, educators, school leaders, psychologists, academics, innovators, policymakers and people shaping the future of education will gather at Redhill School in Johannesburg for three days of courageous conversation, fresh thinking and practical ideas about what education could, and perhaps should, become.

Because the world our children are growing into has changed.

The question is whether education has changed enough with it.

Redefine is an invitation to step outside the demands of the everyday, question some of the assumptions we have inherited and spend time thinking deeply about the children sitting in our classrooms now, and the world for which we are preparing them.

Redefine 2026 begins on Friday morning, continues throughout Friday and Saturday, and concludes on Sunday.

Across three days, keynote addresses and breakaway sessions will bring together different voices, perspectives and ideas, creating space not only to listen, but to question, contribute and connect with others who care deeply about the future of education.
