The Journey: All Night Worship & Prayer

I’m turning 25, and this year, I’ve chosen to celebrate differently.

Instead of gathering to celebrate me, I’ve chosen to gather and worship the One who has given me another year of life. Because honestly, what better way is there to celebrate another year than to give glory to God?

This night is a personal celebration, but the focus is not on me.

It is on Jesus.

We are not gathering to worship God in exchange for something.

We are not gathering because we need Him to open a door, fix a situation, give us a breakthrough or change our circumstances.

We are gathering because He is God, and He deserves to be worshipped.

This is the heart behind this night.

Acts 16 tells us that Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God while they were in prison. They did not worship because they knew that God was about to free them. They worshipped in the prison. The chains breaking were God's response—but their worship was not a transaction.

God was worthy before the prison doors opened.

And He would have remained worthy even if they had not.

That is where I want us to be.

A people who can say:

God is good.

God is worthy.

God is God.

Regardless of what our circumstances look like.

So come and join me as I celebrate 25 years of God's faithfulness—not with a traditional birthday party, but with an all-night gathering of worship, prayer, thanksgiving and glorifying the God who has been good to me through every year, every season and every circumstance.

This night is not about what we can get from Him.

It is about giving Him what He is worthy of.

Let’s spend the night worshipping Jesus together.
