ABOUT
The Cancer Association of SA (CANSA) Durban will be hosting a 5km family fun run called Let's Gijima & get CANSA Active. The run will be starting at the Bay of Plenty Amphitheatre on the Durban beach front, right next to Circus Circus. Runners or walkers will proceed along the promenade towards Ushaka and back. We are hosting this on the 4th February 2018, World Cancer Day and are inviting all Durbanites to get active, healthy and have some fun with the whole family. At the same time you will be contributing to a local organisation that has been educating the public and offering support services for 40 years to cancer patients and their families.
This fun run is aimed at creating awareness about living a healthy lifestyle and the realisation that everyone can make a difference in the fight against cancer. By ensuring your family has a healthier diet, exercises more regularly, applying sunscreen and even volunteering. We can, you can, I can make a difference.
Registration takes place @ 7am and the race starts at 8am. Registrations will take place on the day from 7am.
