Folk Vino Pizza Fest returns on Saturday, 24 October, bringing together the best of the Capes wines, delicious pizza and one unforgettable afternoon in St James.
Set outdoors beneath the open sky, just across from the ocean, the festival unfolds in Folk’s garden with the sea air, mountain backdrop and laid-back atmosphere that make this corner of St James so special.
This year’s confirmed wineries include Doolhof, Newton Johnson, MAN Wines, Stellenzicht, Sutherland, Constantia Glen, Krone, Kloof Street Wines, Bosman, Shannon, Oak Valley and some surprises on the way!

LIVE MUSIC FROM THE BOOGIE KNIGHTS
The one and only Boogie Knights will be performing live and keeping the party moving throughout the festival. Expect great music, plenty of energy and the perfect soundtrack to an afternoon of wine and pizza beside the ocean.
Jack Black will also be pouring in the garden, complete with its own specially created pizza, while Wine Bingo will be hosted by Le Roi of Cabo Wines.
There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs, including wine hampers from participating farms, beer and merchandise from Jack Black, a coffee hamper from Folk Coffee, and much more.
Tickets are R420 and include:
• 10 pizza-slice tokens
• 10 wine-tasting tokens
Mix and match your pizza and wine however you like—there’s no prescribed pairing, only your formula.
Doors open at 3pm. Wine-tasting stations close at 9pm, and the event finishes at 10pm.
This is a family-friendly event, and children enter free of charge. Non-tasting tickets will also be available for designated drivers. Once you have purchased your festival tickets, please contact Folk directly to arrange designated-driver tickets.
Please drink responsibly and book an Uber or arrange another safe way home. The train to St James is a great way to arrive, but please make alternative arrangements for your journey home.
