Laps of Compassion - Family Day

A walk for a shelter or rescue dog means being away from their kennel and forgetting about where they are for a little while.

Shelter dogs from all over Gauteng will be waiting for you, ready and eager to walk laps for a good cause. Help us make tails wag, bring your family and walk with ours!

Walk a shelter pup (or your own companion) through a curated market, visit stalls, take your walking buddy along for fun doggy activities, win prizes, and enjoy music, great food and drinks while soaking up the sun and fresh air at our Laps of Compassion Family Day. Don’t stress, there will be plenty of shade and seating!

(Walking the lap is entirely up to you, if you wish to only peruse the market and visit stalls, we’d love to see you there!)

Children under 12 enter free, you are welcome to bring your doggy with you but we ask that you please ensure that they are on-lead, and that they are socialised and comfortable with other dogs and people.
