The Futurist Family Fun Fair

Join the Futurist for a fun filled day on the 3 October 2026 from 10am to 4pm with a jumping castle fun day including Rocket Launcher, Zorb Balls and large variety of jumping castles and even a baby section to keep the little ones entertained. Entertainment, Food Stalls, vendors and entertainment for all.

The Futurists Community Fair and Official Community Launch will introduce The Futurists and the flagship Val'sikhewu: Filling the Gap initiative to the broader community while bring together schools, families, community organisations, businesses and prospective partners.

The Event aims to create a vibrant platform for community engagement, partnership-building and opportunity sharing, showcasing education, recreation, sport, arts, culture, health, skills development and other community resources.

More than a launch, the Fair represents the beginning of a collaborative community -development journey in which local and external partners combine there knowledge, skills and resources to strengthen schools, empower young people and families, and contribute towards sustainable community transformation.
