HA!MAN - Spontaneous Creativity Workshop

To all who have an interest in keeping your sources of being creative nurtured, or just plain getting a fresh injection of life and feeling, the HA!Man is visiting Playhouse 5, with his Workshop in Spontaneous Creativity. By its very nature, it is hard to describe such an unfolding event - it is spontaneous, after all! At the same time, we all have a knowing of what it is about: a rekindling of that playful realm where we grew up from and where we need to re-enter to find fresh inspirations, healing and spiritual awakening. With every workshop, we give birth to an event with its own life and organic structure, rather than a series of exercises. What we are after is no abandoning of control or form, but finding those forms anew within a flow that does not skirt away from the unknown. To this effect, I use musical improvisation (cello, voice plus a range of other sounds) in a way that encompasses a wide spectrum of feeling and energy spaces. Furthermore, the workshop becomes a sharing dynamic. What others do, might encourage you to express in ways you would never have done by yourself. We play together, we play by ourselves, but we also play-perform to each other, which brings a special focus and intensity to the event.
