Eric Kok Presents brings you SKYF, an original Afrikaans stage production that combines drama, humour, music and powerful performances to tell a story about dreams, family, friendship and the choices that can change a young person's life.
At the centre of the story is Denzil van Wyk, a talented young dancer with dreams of making something of his life. But with pressure at home, expectations about his future and the influence of those around him, Denzil finds himself caught between the life he wants and choices that could cost him everything.
SKYF explores substance abuse, peer pressure, family relationships, responsibility and the challenges facing young people, while ultimately telling a story about hope, second chances and finding the courage to choose a different path.
Presented through authentic local storytelling, SKYF is created for teenagers, parents and community members alike and aims to entertain audiences while starting important conversations long after the curtain closes.
