General information, rules and arrangements

1. Only pre-entries will be excepted at: www.quicket.co.za. A maximum of 300 entries will be accepted. A cost of R30 (thirty rand) is payable for each entry. The whole of this amount will be donated to Run Walk for Life club.
2. The date of the fun run / walk is 10 October 2026 at 6:00 and the event starts and finishes at Waverley Plaza, Hertzog Street, Waverley, Pretoria.
3. The deadline for entries is 27 September 2026, but if the number of entries equal 300 before then, entries will close.
4. Entry cards can be collected at Wimpy Waverley on Friday 9 October 15:00 – 18:00 or on the event day from 5:15 – 5:50.
5. It is each participant’s responsibility is to ensure they are medically fit and healthy to participate in the 5km event.
6. The time limit for the 5km is 60 minutes (12 min / km). Cut-offs will be done at 1 & 2 km.
7. Marshals and traffic officials must be always obeyed.
8. No seconding or vehicles on routes will be allowed.
9. Water will be supplied at the finish only and there will not be water on route.
10. Regret that no mechanically operated device or wheelchairs are permitted to participate in the event.
11. No animals are allowed in the event.
12. No iPods or listening devices are allowed.
13. The fun run/walk entry cards must be clearly visible on the front of the entrant’s clothing.
14. There will be no tog bag facilities.
15. This is a fun event and will not be officially timed and no official results will be available.
16. Spot prizes are available on event day.
17. Participation is at your own risk; the organisers and partners accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury.
18. Parking at own risk.
19. Medical assistance will be available.
20. Please do not litter. Do not discard water sachets or cups.
21. All children must be always accompanied by their parents.
