High Fidelity Listening is a quiet celebration of sound, ritual, and slow living. Inspired by late-night listening bars, vinyl culture, and warm analog textures, the brand creates spaces and goods that turn everyday moments into intentional experiences.

From carefully curated playlists to thoughtfully designed objects, High Fidelity Listening is about depth over noise conversation, atmosphere, and music meant to be felt as much as heard.

Presented in conjunction with Volks Listen & Smash Burgers, an audiophile listening bar, this experience pairs high-fidelity sound with thoughtfully crafted smash burgers, bringing together music, food, and community for a warm, sensory gathering.

A special guest joining us for this session is Shoemaker, a Cape Town-based DJ, curator, filmmaker, photographer, and dedicated record collector. Known for thoughtful selections rooted in groove, discovery, and storytelling, his sets weave together disco, house, Brazilian grooves, African rhythms, soul, funk, and unexpected musical discoveries, creating a journey guided by feeling rather than genre.

Across the afternoon, expect the sound to drift, twist, and evolve in all the right ways from smoky trip-hop, soulful acid jazz, soul, funk, and disco to laid-back downtempo grooves, with just the right amount of house energy slipping in when the moment calls for it.
