Saturday evening 18:00 Spit braai with live music. Also, please book your spit via Quicket. R250.00p.p. NO tickets for spit will be available on the day of the event .

The inaugural Breede River Seagull Regatta is to take place on the 17th of October 2026 at the scenic Viljoensdrift Wine Farm in Robertson, Western Cape. Hosted in collaboration with Robertson Round Table, this event promises to be an extraordinary day for Seagull Outboard enthusiasts, participants and spectators.

Get ready for an early start. Gates open at 07:00am for setting up and last minute tuning. The official briefing will take place at 10:30 where rules and route will be discussed. The regatta will commence at 11:15 sharp!!. The total route makes up the distance of 10 km. There is only one slipway available, so we recommend an early arrival to avoid any potential bottlenecks!

Participation costs are R650.00 per boat, pilot and co-pilot, which includes a T-shirt for pilot and co-pilot (PLEASE provide T-shirt sizes for both at ticket checkout).

Crew on board may be more than 2 people - if your boat can handle it. All safety measures is pilot's responsibility. Very important, one fire extinguisher per boat!!!!

Be sure not to miss the special auction of a Seagull Outboard and a Magnum bottle of wine, which will take place at 17:00 followed by a exciting prize-giving ceremony, where we’ll reward the Fastest 5 hp, Fastest 40+, Youngest Pilot, Best Dressed Crew, Most Cheerful Crew and the Engine that Quits the Most.

The event site is a picturesque location, featuring plenty of green grass where attendees can relax and enjoy a marvelous view of the river. (Hopefully grass will be back by then after the recent floods). Please bring your own folding chair and gazebo.

The Viljoensdrift Wines’ full restaurant will be open offering a variety of dishes accompanied by their signature fine wines. A cash bar will also be available from 09H00 until 23H59 .Hotdogs will be available throughout the day . Bar and Hotdogs = Robertson Round Table.

What’s an event without music? Enjoy performances from a local artist that will be sure to have you tapping your feet.

Whether you’re a die-hard Seagull Outboard enthusiast or a relaxed onlooker, the Breede River Seagull Regatta 2026, promises to be a fantastic day!! We can’t wait to see you there!

Due to the resent devastated flood, 12 and 13 June 2026 , all our beautiful trees on the bank of the Breede were wiped out. Bring camping chairs and gazebo’s .
