from her bones

from her bones is a new South African event brought to you by Unusual Bones & Pascale Schoeman. A place where different creative disciplines meet, where conversations begin and where the women shaping South Africa’s creative future can be celebrated.

In our first edition of the event which will take place on August 10th, 2026 at Gorgeous George’s; The Pink Room, we explore the collaboration between musicians and filmmakers. Pairing live performances with music film screenings before opening up a conversation about the stories, relationships and creative process behind the work.

Artists include Mishy Kope, Akeeda, Magé Troskie, Emilie Badenhorst and Hana Sho.
