UMGQIBELO, traditionally meaning “Saturday” in Zulu, has evolved into a Gqom and alternative dance music event, brought to you by SIBATHATHU and D[Nowhere]J from Johannesburg, South Africa. UMGQIBELO offers an immersive dance music experience and an unforgettable night with a lineup of electrifying artists.
This is instalment is a collaboration with Nyusa Igqom, a prominent South African gqom music collective, event organizer, and DJ platform celebrated for driving underground gqom culture, high-energy B2B club sets, and events like Umdanso.
