James Grace, Carl Straussner and Thinus Boshoff - This is Classical Guitar!

A celebration of solo, duo and trio music for the classical guitar performed by three distinguished South African classical guitarists.

Carl Straussner and Thinus Boshoff are both professional classical guitarists who have been performing together since 2024. In 2026 they compiled their first full guitar duo program under the label Baobab – A Classical Guitar Initiative. The aim of this initiative is to preserve well-known guitar compositions through performance, hinting at the water preservation qualities of the African Baobab tree.

They will entertain the audience with some traditional repertoire composed for two guitars, followed by a solo performance by James Grace.
