ABOUT
Join the NWU Potchefstroom Campus spectators as we travel to the NWU Mahikeng Campus for the 2026 SRC Inter-Campus Sports Day. This annual institutional event promotes student integration, sportsmanship and social cohesion through competitive sporting activities between NWU campuses.
Supporters and official delegates will travel together by bus from the Potchefstroom Campus to Mahikeng Campus, where students will support the University's sporting teams throughout the day.
Event Information
- Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026
- Student Reporting Time: 04:00
- Bus Departure: 05:00
- Venue: NWU Mahikeng Campus
- Pick-up Point: Building F1, NWU Potchefstroom Campus
- Transport: Midway Busses
- Return Departure: After 19:00, once the official programme has concluded
- Ticket Price: Available via Quicket (booking link will be shared in due course)
- Supporters: 170 students
Important Information
- All students must be registered before boarding.
- Students must report to Building F1 from 04:00am.
- Ad hoc security searches will be conducted before boarding.
- Alcohol prohibited substances and dangerous weapons are strictly prohibited.
- Students under the influence of alcohol or found in possession of prohibited items will not be permitted to travel and will forfeit their ticket.
- Luch Packs will be provided at the Mahikeng Campus, bring more snacks or money should you need more.
