About the Show:

South African music legends Bed on Bricks will be reuniting and teaming with the band making waves in the SA music industry right now, Battersby.

After legendary band Son's of Trout disbanded in the late 90's Lead Singer Mik Hardy formed Bed on Bricks with top musicians Schalk van der Merwe, Dave van der Linden and Tim Rankin. The outfit was hugely popular across South Africa during the 2000's and 2010's, even performing with Bastille during their international tour of South Africa. Bed on Bricks offers the perfect combination of rock and funk with lyrics both quirky and heartfelt. They are guaranteed to get you moving.

Since forming in 2023 Battersby have developed a reputation for authentic songwriting and compelling stage performances that connect deeply with audiences. The band's last performance at The Loft saw them releasing their latest single and video, 'Arrows'. The band is excited to return to their 'home' venue and will no doubt offer up a high energy foot-tapping set.
