WOMEN’S DAY GATHERING

FOR ONE SLOW MONDAY WE WILL CREATE A VILLAGE

This is a call to all our incredible women to gather for the day! We will have some nourishing practices to come back to yourself and to the earth but most importantly it is a call to come together, to see where we can support each other and live in the vibration of reciprocity.

This gathering is a collaboration between RICHUAL, a celebration of the richness found in slow, intentional living, and HUMNKind, a movement remembering what it means to be human through community, outreach and belonging.

We're deeply honoured to welcome Mama Vivian Zolo, founder of Iliso Care Society, whose life's work has transformed thousands of lives through care, dignity and unwavering service to the Khayelitsha community. Rather than simply hearing her story, we're inviting ourselves into relationship with it.

THE FLOW

This is an open-house style gathering. Come and go as you please, linger as long as your heart desires, and make the afternoon your own.

11H00: DOORS OPEN - A slow beginning, herbal infusions, soft conversations and time to settle into the space.

12H00: WOMB / VOICE MEDICINE - Opening our throats, hearts and the space with sound, presence & resonance

13H00: STORIES OF RECIPROCITY - Mama Vivian Zolo & Liyabona from the Iliso Care Society will share the extraordinary story of what becomes possible when a community refuses to leave anyone behind.

14H00: VILLAGE LUNCH - Gathering around the table & garden, women bringing a dish, a story, a little of themselves. Exactly as villagers have done for generations.

15H00: MEET YOUR BODY, MEET THE LAND A final guided embodiment session with Annette and journey to share our prayers with the waters.

We will have offerings throughout the day should you like to give yourself an extra bit of nourishment.
