At The Great Yarn Swap, you're invited to bring yarn that no longer sparks joy and swap it for something new and inspiring!

What happens at The Great Yarn Swap?

Yarn Swap: For every ball you bring, you can take one home of the same category (natural or synthetic)

Craft Circle: Bring your work-in-progress and enjoy a relaxed morning of making with others

Donations: This event is also a way to source donations for Includid Group Homes, an organisation that provides accommodation and employment for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. All leftover supplies from the swap will be used for their knitting circle, where they make items to sell. Fabric, beads, notions etc are welcomed for donation too as long as they are in good, usable condition.

Sort your yarn

We'll be arranging yarn by composition (natural and synthetic). No tangled skeins welcome – sorry!

Bring donations

All leftover yarn will be donated to Includid Group Homes; therefore, the more, the merrier. We also invited you to bring yarn especially to donate. But please, no random bags of mystery craft-y junk ?? Clean, usable supplies only. Anything mouldy, damaged, or beyond saving will be politely turned away.
