Arts & Culture: In Women's Commemoration Art Auction

It is with great pleasure that the Johannesburg Junior Council's Arts & Culture Committee invites you to our Charity Art Auction, in commemoration of Women's Month.

This evening is more than an exhibition of art – it is a celebration of creativity in the service of compassion. Through the generosity of our artists, guests, and supporters, we hope to raise meaningful funds for two remarkable organisations dedicated to empowering and protecting vulnerable women: Frida Hartley Women Shelter, and Tshegofatsa Rona Welfare N Community Organization.

As young South Africans, we recognise the profound impact that gender-based violence continues to have on our communities. We believe that art possesses a unique ability to inspire conversation, cultivate empathy, and create lasting change. Every piece exhibited and every bid placed will contribute directly towards supporting women who need it most.
