For the very first time, Vine & Voyage comes to the spectacular waterways of Thesen Islands, Knysna, on Saturday, 5 December 2026.
This exclusive wine-tasting journey brings together 20 exceptional South African wine farms, hosted across eight beautiful private homes and tasting stations along the canals.
Guests will travel aboard approved boats from one tasting experience to the next, enjoying outstanding wines, elegant surroundings and the unmistakable magic of summer in Knysna.
Vine & Voyage promises an unforgettable day of wine, water and wonderful discoveries.

IMPORTANT EVENT DETAILS
Registration
Registration will take place at The Turbine Hotel from 10h00 - 14h00
Guests will receive their event wristbands and wine glasses and attend a compulsory safety briefing before boarding their allocated boats.
Please arrive in good time to allow for registration and boarding.
Morning Session
- Registration opens at 10h00
- Boats depart for the morning event at 11h00 sharp & afternoon event at 14h30 sharp
- The morning event 11h00 - 14h00
- The afternoon event 14h45 - 17h30
- Late arrivals cannot be accommodated, and missed departures will not qualify for a refund or transfer.
Each ticket is valid only for the session and departure time selected when booking.
Departure and Return Point
Guests will board their allocated boats at the official departure point at Thesen Harbour Town, in front of Magic Lagoon Charters.
Boats will return to Thesen Harbour Town, in front of Tapas and Magic Lagoon Charters.
Guests must travel on their allocated boat and follow the route, timetable and instructions provided by the event organisers and boat operators.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Strictly for persons aged 18 and over
- Valid identification may be requested
- No babies, children or pets are permitted
- Guests may not bring their own food, beverages or cooler boxes
- The event will proceed in light rain or shine, provided conditions remain safe
- Comfortable, non-slip footwear is strongly recommended
- Guests must be able to board and disembark boats and navigate private jetties, decks and steps
- Guests must drink responsibly and comply with all safety instructions
- Intoxicated, disruptive or unsafe guests may be refused boarding or removed from the event without a refund
- Right of admission is reserved
SAFETY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Vine & Voyage takes place on and around water and includes travel by boat, boarding and disembarking at jetties, and access to private homes, decks, steps and tasting areas. These activities carry inherent risks, including slipping, falling, changing weather and water conditions, and injury while boarding, travelling or disembarking.
By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, each guest confirms that they understand and voluntarily accept these inherent risks and agree to exercise appropriate care at all times.
Guests must follow all instructions issued by Sasha Events, participating venues, homeowners, boat operators, skippers, safety personnel and event staff. Failure to follow these instructions may result in refusal of boarding or removal from the event without compensation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sasha Events, its representatives, sponsors, partners, participating homeowners, wine farms, venues, contractors and boat operators will not be liable for loss, theft, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience arising from attendance at or participation in the event.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence where such an exclusion is prohibited by law.
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings, personal safety, alcohol consumption, transport to and from the event, and any medical conditions that may affect their participation.
PROGRAMME AND ROUTE CHANGES
All participating wine farms, tasting stations, routes, boats, departure points and advertised timings are subject to change when reasonably required for operational, weather, safety, licensing or regulatory reasons.
Sasha Events reserves the right to substitute participating wine farms, tasting stations, vessels or elements of the programme without this constituting cancellation of the event or automatically creating an entitlement to a refund.
WEATHER, POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION
The event is scheduled to proceed in light rain or shine. However, Sasha Events may delay, amend, postpone, relocate or cancel the event if weather, water conditions, safety concerns, regulatory requirements or circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
If the event is postponed, tickets will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled date. Any refund or alternative offered following a postponement or cancellation will be determined in accordance with applicable South African law, the Quicket refund process and any irrecoverable costs already incurred.
Sasha Events will not be responsible for guests’ travel, accommodation or other personal expenses arising from a postponement, cancellation or programme change.
TICKET CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
Tickets are limited and secure a place on a specific session and allocated boat.
If a guest cancels their booking, any refund will be subject to applicable South African consumer law, the Quicket refund process and a reasonable cancellation charge, where permitted.
No refund or transfer will be provided for:
- Late arrival or a missed departure
- Failure to attend
- Refusal of entry due to intoxication, disruptive behaviour or failure to follow safety instructions
- Failure to produce valid proof of age when requested
- A change in participating wine farms, tasting stations, boats, routes or scheduled activities that does not amount to cancellation of the event
Ticket transfers may only be made through the approved booking platform or with the prior written consent of Sasha Events.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
Photography and filming may take place during Vine & Voyage for promotional and event-recording purposes.
Guests who do not wish to be photographed should advise the event team at registration. Sasha Events will take reasonable steps to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from wide-angle or crowd photographs.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By purchasing or accepting a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these event terms and that all members of your booking party have been made aware of them.
