ABOUT
Welcome to A Morning in Nature
Step into a world of discovery, adventure and wonder!
Join us at Bushwillow School for a unique family morning inspired by My Safari Journal, where children can explore nature through exciting hands-on activities, creative challenges and unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Young explorers will receive an Explorer Map before setting off on an adventure through four interactive stations:
Tracker Station – Discover how safari guides use clues such as elephant dung, broken branches and other signs to track wildlife.
Mammal Superpowers – Meet the fearless honey badger and uncover the incredible adaptations that help mammals survive in the wild.
Super STEM Station – Get creative by making your own nature-inspired sunscreen while learning how animals protect themselves from the African sun.
Conservation Promise Tree – Leave your own promise to nature and become one of our Young Nature Champions.
Complete your Explorer Map for a chance to win some exciting lucky draw prizes!
Meet author Shani Preller-Trollope, enjoy a book signing, browse copies of My Safari Journal, and relax with delicious food and refreshments available throughout the morning.
Whether you're a budding explorer, a curious scientist or simply love spending time outdoors, A Morning in Nature promises fun, learning and adventure for the whole family.
Adventure begins the moment you arrive. We can't wait to welcome you!
