Wildflower Stepping Stones Project Protea Valley Wildflower Walk
Sun Sep 20, 11:00 - Sun Sep 20, 13:00
Kreupelboom Street
ABOUT
This year, the Wildflower Stepping Stones Project is taking our Wildflower Walks to another level.
In the past, we've only walked in Kenridge and in Van Riebeeckshof - but this year, we're adding a BRAND NEW Protea Valley walk. What's more, the Protea Valley walk will include a special focus on the animals we share our urban habitat with. It's going to be a fabulous spring for conservation!
The Route
We start with a walk around Kreupelboom dam, then walk to Botrivier park, Snowball park and finally Embers park, where you can admire a locally indigenous garden too. Those who have small children with them and would prefer to finish the walk after circling the dam, are welcome to do so.
Come explore the different locally indigenous wildflowers, how the animals around us depend on them and rediscover the wonder on our doorsteps.
Parking
Don't hesitate to walk there! But if you need parking, please use Kreupelboom st.
