THE ONE AND THE ALL Album Launch

Join us for the launch of THE ONE AND THE ALL – an experimental spoken word and jazz album by poet and multidisciplinary artist Modise Sekgothe. Created in collaboration with award-winning jazz musicians Siya Makuzeni and Shane Cooper, the fourteen-piece work moves through the personal, political and universal, exploring questions of identity, gender, spirituality, love, loss and our relationship to the collective. Rooted in improvisation, the album brings poetry and jazz into a fluid conversation, allowing language and music to respond to, interrupt and transform one another.

The evening will feature:

• A live performance of works from the album
• An exclusive first opportunity to purchase the limited-edition vinyl
• Music, drinks and a vinyl signing
