Veteran journalist Marianne Thamm brings her new show "Would You Like Some Coffee With Your Coup?" to Bushmans Town Hall.

Thamm's Naledi Award-winning first piece of comedy "performance journalism," Round Of Applause – South Africa Still Standing, was performed over 100 times since it first saw light at the Baxter in 2023. Since then, Brazilian Butt Lifts, Impalas, Ozempic bribes and Blue Lights have entered the political discourse thanks to daily commissions, and the country prepares for local elections later in the year. The Zillenator is eyeing Johannesburg, the ANC is in ICU, and the rest are in the dock.
