Girls On Bikes Women’s Month #2

This August, we're dedicating every ride to the women who choose to show up for themselves and for each other.

Whether you're getting on a bike for the very first time, returning after years away, or you're already part of the Girls On Bikes family, these rides are for you.

We'll ride through Johannesburg and neighbouring areas like Westcliff, Rosebank, and Greenside, which should be about 10-15km and, safely, 2hrs including stops. Our rides are generally beginner-friendly, but they do require you to have some fitness, as cycling is a physical sport.

Our rides are curated to remind YOU of the incredible power of being a woman and of taking up space together. Because that's what Girls On Bikes has always been about: creating safe spaces, building confidence, and making cycling accessible to more women.

So grab your girls, or come on your own. Chances are you'll leave with a few new friends.

This Women's Month, let's celebrate freedom, movement, sisterhood, and the simple joy of seeing the city on two wheels.
