ABOUT

Celebrate the power of storytelling and divine feminine energy this Women's Month. The Dweba Afro Jazz Sessions returns on the 28th of August for a phenomenal, all-women curation co-headlined by three incredible South African artists.

Meet the Headliners:

Qaqamba Ntshinka: A graduate of the Bridges For Music Academy, this poet and songwriter weaves deep social realities into beautiful, communal-healing melodies. Fresh off her international debut at Fabric London, she has shared arena stages with icons like Zonke, Msaki, and Mandisi Dyantyis, and is a two-time Basadi in Music Awards nominee.

Zintle Ne-ahtYah Mbuyazwe: A South African jazz vocalist and songwriter from eNgcobo. Her music beautifully fuses Xhosa rhythms and traditional ukombela singing with South African Jazz to inspire hope, truth, and healing. She has previously shared stages with visionaries like Msaki and Bongeziwe Mabandla.

Andisa Bulo: A Cape Town-born performer, poet, and theatre educator. Blending storytelling, poetry, and music to explore identity and human connection, Andisa is a UCT Applied Theatre Honours student and a recent Best Supporting Actress nominee at the Baxter Theatre's Zabalaza Festival.

Experience these three powerhouse forces up close in our intimate gallery setting. Space is strictly limited to preserve the soul and quality of the evening, grab your tickets early!
