Idaimani Tour ft. Bra Mo and Iva Collective

The Black Power Station brings you a night of story telling, celebration and connection through song and dance with some amazing local South African artists.

The Idiamani Tour presented by Mohau Moahloli, Cape Town-based artist, is one that reflects great adventure and exploration of the diamond that is South Africa. His recent song release 'Idiamani' is a captivating and creative metaphor for finding your worth and weaves intricate melodies and instruments from a varied background of musical influences.

In a similar vein, the Eastern Cape-based Iva Collective, represents the rich synergy of interconnected cultures. This connection is clearly audible on their Karoo-inspired project, Umhlaba Ophezulu / Higher Ground, where poetry, deep melodies, and artistic movement convey a shared message of oneness.

About the artists:

Bra Mo

Mohau Moahloli, known on stage as Bra Mo, is a South African singer-songwriter and bandleader, now based in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. As the creative force behind the band Mmino, Mohau blends soulful vocals with powerful storytelling, creating music that speaks across generations and cultures.

Over the years, Mohau has carried his sound far beyond South Africa’s borders, performing in most major cities across Europe. Sharing festival stages with celebrated artists, He is also part of a winning award super group Native Young, he has earned recognition for his ability to connect deeply with audiences through both intimate performances and high-energy shows.

Currently undergoing an exciting rebrand, Mohau continues to evolve his artistry under the dual banners of Bra Mo (his personal stage identity).His journey reflects a commitment not only to music, but also to bridging communities through rhythm, melody, and story.

The Iva Collective

Iva Collective is a cross cultural collaboration of artists from Southern Africa. Curated by core duo Buntu Duku and Samantha Collett, whose deep convictions and freshness of approach to therapeutic performance art signify the ethos 'unifying through art’. An intrinsic weaving of indigenous, classic, traditional and contemporary sounds and stories. The name 'iva' is derived from the isiXhosa 'yiva' and invitation to listen, feel or taste, with a biblical reference to ‘Eve’ the first woman, paying homage to all women.

The Iva Collective are proud ambassadors of Ivanya Yethu Heritage Foundation amplifying a message of unified culture and 'oneness', paying homage to the indigenous peoples of the land and contributing to the expansion of positive power and knowledge to communities in marginalised areas.
