This Mandela Day, join us in making a meaningful difference in our community.
Every Saturday and Sunday, volunteers from OBS Can Feed You, in partnership with Trenchtown, prepare and serve breakfast to members of the Observatory community. Your support helps us continue filling empty stomachs long after Mandela Day has passed.
Tickets are R67 minimum, but you're welcome to contribute more if you'd like to further support the initiative. You can also donate food items in addition to purchasing a ticket—every contribution makes a difference.
We are collecting donations of:
- Sliced bread
- Peanut butter
- Jam
- Cheese
- Oats
- Sugar
- Mayonnaise
Join us for our morning breakfast preparation and service from 08:00–10:00, then come back in the evening for a some more fun at Trenchtown, featuring great food, drinks, music, and a chance to celebrate while supporting a worthy cause.
Can't make it? You're still welcome to buy a ticket as a donation or drop off food items to support the breakfast programme. Every contribution helps keep the pot full. ??
