From the streets of Salzburg to the concert halls of Vienna, generations of composers have shaped the course of Western music, creating works that continue to inspire audiences across every continent. At the heart of this rich tradition stands Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, whose music remains as fresh, joyful and captivating today as when it was first performed more than two centuries ago.

Salon Music is honoured to welcome the internationally acclaimed Austrian piano duo Anton & Maite for their South African appearance. Praised by critics as "close to perfection" and "truly overwhelming", the duo is celebrated for combining exceptional virtuosity with imaginative and engaging performances. Winners of more than ten international awards and recently selected for The New Austrian Sound of Music, they have appeared in many of Europe's leading concert halls and continue to delight audiences around the world.

Together with the Salon Music String Orchestra, they present an afternoon celebrating musical dialogue and friendship. The programme journeys through the brilliance of Johann Sebastian Bach, the elegance of John Field, the sparkling charm of Camille Saint-Saëns and culminates in Mozart's magnificent Concerto for Two Pianos in E-flat major, K.365—one of the composer's most joyful and beloved concertos.

For more than thirty years, Salon Music has presented world-class classical music in South Africa, introducing audiences to exceptional artists from around the globe while celebrating the timeless beauty of the classical repertoire.
