Framed Sessions & Live Sessions Present:

FRAMED SESSIONS VOL. 2- a multidisciplinary arts experience bringing together painting, photography, drawing, spoken word, collage and music in one immersive evening.

HOSTED AT The Pink Room - Gorgeous George Hotel

The evening begins with a curated exhibition featuring Lauren Shantall, Brig Stanford, Ella Mason, Nina Kay, Jasper Wolfeman, Larissa Brand and Tristan van Zyl, showcasing diverse interpretations of the natural world. The exhibition is accompanied by a vinyl DJ set from Wax Garden.

From there, musicians, live painter Jasper Wolfeman, projection artists and spoken word performers come together for a live improvised jam session, creating and responding to one another in real time. The session features Andrei van Wyk, Matlali Matabane and Toast Coetzer, alongside spoken word performances in Afrikaans, English and isiXhosa. It also marks a one-night-only reunion of The Glue Factory, bringing their iconic liquid lightshow projection art into the collaborative experience.

The evening concludes with two live performances: Sold Ash, performing their first-ever unplugged set, followed by Suenos x Larissa Brand, celebrating the release of Vreemde, Vreemde, their first ever collaborative EP that brings together Suenos' music and Larissa Brand's bilingual poetry in Afrikaans & English into a unique artistic soundscape.

Framed Sessions celebrates creativity as a shared process, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience art as it unfolds, from inspiration and experimentation to the final performance.
