Created by Chris Roland, IMMERSION is a 105-minute live musical experience that expands the traditional idea of music into something deeply immersive, expressive and profoundly human.
Rather than presenting songs or a conventional concert programme, IMMERSION unfolds as a single continuous musical composition, performed live by seven sound artists using more than 150 acoustic instruments, voice and silence. The music is created moment by moment as the artists respond to one another, the audience, the instruments and the unique acoustics of the theatre, allowing the performance to evolve organically in real time. Every vibration, every transition and every moment is unique to that evening and can never be repeated.

With a special appearance of 12 Youth Choir Vocalists, whose voices become an integral part of the musical journey in a way that departs completely from traditional choral performance. Presented with a custom-designed immersive sound environment, surrounding you in sound wherever you are seated in the theatre.
