This August, Bloemfontein audiences have the rare opportunity to find out when internationally celebrated South African soprano Golda Schultz visits the Odeion School of Music for an exclusive three-day residency.

Praised for her radiant voice, compelling stage presence, and extraordinary musicianship, Golda Schultz has captivated audiences at the world's most prestigious opera houses and concert halls, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Royal Opera House in London, the Vienna State Opera, the Salzburg Festival, the Berliner Philharmoniker, and the New York Philharmonic. Now, she brings that wealth of experience to Bloemfontein.

During two public masterclasses, five outstanding young South African singers will work one-on-one with this internationally acclaimed artist. Audiences are invited behind the scenes of musical excellence to witness every lesson, every breakthrough, and every moment of artistic discovery. Whether you are a singer, musician, educator, student, or simply love great music, these sessions offer an unforgettable glimpse into the artistry, discipline, and inspiration behind a world-class performance.

The residency concludes with the Masterclass Participants' Gala Concert, where audiences can experience the remarkable progress made during three days of intensive coaching as the participants take to the stage in celebration of their artistic journey.

Following studies at the University of Cape Town and the Juilliard School in New York, she has established herself as one of the defining lyric sopranos of her generation, performing alongside the world's leading conductors and orchestras and appearing regularly on the most prestigious international stages.
