Sci-Enza Skills Lab is back with a high-energy, 2-day Green Design Challenge for Grades 7 to 12!

Using a "Systems Thinking" approach, this rapid sprint bridges the gap between school science and real-world impact. It empowers learners to think like modern environmental engineers while mastering vital, high-income skills like complex problem-solving, digital design layout, and confident public pitching.

Details of the program :

Date : 14 - 15 July 2026

Time : 9:00 - 13:00

Targeted audience : Grade 7 - 12

Place : Sci-Enza Science Centre, University of Pretoria, Hatfield Campus.

Please note the following important information:

1. The programme officially starts at 09:00 and ends at 13:00 each day.
2. Children should be dropped off 15 – 30 minutes before the start of the programme and picked up at 13:00.
3. No child will be allowed to leave Sci-Enza premises during and after the programme without a parent/guardian.
4. Parents/guardians are not allowed to join the programme.
5. Parents/guardians must pack lunch and water for their children each day.
6. Parents will need to sign consent forms in order for their children to be photographed and published on either social media platforms or featured articles.
