Award-winning Afro Jazz and Neo-Soul artist Wanda Baloyi is a proudly Pan-African performer whose music reflects her rich multicultural heritage. Born in South Africa to Mozambican parents and raised in the vibrant streets of Johannesburg, Wanda’s sound is a unique blend of African rhythms, soul, jazz, and contemporary influences.

Wanda began her professional music career as a member of the award-winning all-female group Ghetto Luv, before embarking on a successful solo career. She later signed with Universal Music Group, where she established herself as one of South Africa’s most respected vocalists.

Throughout her solo journey, Wanda has released four acclaimed studio albums:

• Voices – produced by Jimmy Dludlu, earning her a KORA Award for Best African Arrangement.
• So Amazing – showcasing her soulful artistry and vocal maturity.
• Colours – receiving multiple award nominations and critical acclaim.

• Known for her powerful stage presence and exceptional versatility, Wanda seamlessly blends Afro Jazz, Neo-Soul, and African contemporary music while celebrating the diverse cultures that have shaped her identity.
• Beyond music, Wanda is a passionate entrepreneur. She is the founder of several business ventures, including Wanda Wear, a luxury fashion brand; Wawa’s Kitchen, a mobile catering business; and Wandaland Transportation, a company specializing in fast and efficient ground delivery services. She also performs as her energetic DJ alter ego, DJ Queen Choco, entertaining audiences at events across South Africa.
