Date & Time: 13:00 - 17:00

Venue: The Back Yard Venue, 20 Bradford Road, Bedfordview

Capacity: 150 guests. Intimate. Limited. No walk-ins.

Guest Experience Flow:

• 13:00 - 14:00 | Guest Arrival — Check in, welcome drink, find your cake and picnic spot.
• 14:00 - 16:00 | Cake & Connection — Shared cake boxes and selection of cakes, food truck open.
• 16:00 - 17:00 | Slow Close — Photos, guests depart.

Terms & Conditions – Ticket Purchase & Attendance

Ticketing

• All tickets must be purchased in advance via Quicket. No cash payments on the day.
• Tickets are R250 per adult & R180 12 years & under. 2 years & under entry is free, organisers must be notified.
• If child is 13 & above with a children’s ticket the child & adult supervising them will not be allowed to enter.
• Capacity is limited to 150 guests. Once sold out, no additional tickets will be released.

Payment & Refunds

• Full payment is required to secure your seat. Payment confirms your booking.
• No refunds will be issued except if The Hostess Events SA cancels the event. In that case, full refunds will be processed within 5 working days.
• If the event is postponed due to weather, all tickets will be valid for the new date. No refunds will be issued for weather-related postponements.

Arrival & Conduct

• Guest arrival is strictly 13:00 - 14:00. Late arrivals after 14:00 may be denied entry and will not be eligible for a refund.
• No outside food or beverages are permitted on the premises.
• Guests must respect the styled setup and venue property. No furniture or florals may be moved without staff approval.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision of children at all times.
• The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person behaving inappropriately.

Dietary Requirements

• The food truck offers vegetarian options.
• Cakes will be marked with allergen stickers. We cannot guarantee allergen-free cakes as they are prepared in a shared kitchen. Guests are responsible for reviewing allergen labels and determining their own suitability for consumption.

Weather Policy

• This is an outdoor event with no covered backup structure. In the event of severe weather, the event will be postponed to a new date. All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. No refunds will be issued for weather-related postponements.

Photography & Media

• By attending, you consent to photos and video being taken for The Hostess Events SA marketing use.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform staff on arrival.

Liability

• The Hostess Events SA is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
• Guests attend at their own risk. Please supervise children at all times.

General

• The Hostess Events SA reserves the right to refuse entry to guests who are disruptive or intoxicated.
• All suppliers are licensed and insured. Guests must comply with venue rules.
