Bertha & On The Rocks Winemakers Dinner 2026

Join us for an unforgettable evening of exceptional wine, beautifully curated cuisine, and breathtaking ocean views as On the Rocks Restaurant proudly hosts the Bertha Winemakers Dinner.

Set against the iconic backdrop of Bloubergstrand, this exclusive dining experience offers guests the rare opportunity to meet Bertha Wines' winemaker, Bennie Booysen, who will personally introduce the new vintage release collection. Throughout the evening, Bennie will share the stories behind each wine, offering fascinating insight into the vineyards, the winemaking philosophy, and the craftsmanship that defines every Bertha vintage.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated dining experience beginning with a selection of freshly baked breads, hummus, artisanal cheese and charcuterie platters, followed by our Chef's Signature Soup served with warm sourdough bread. Each course has been carefully designed to complement the wines, creating a memorable journey of flavour and discovery.

The evening will showcase Bertha's newly released wines, including the 2026 Sauvignon Blanc, 2026 Merlot Rosé, 2024 Semillon Reserve, and the acclaimed 2023 Shiraz, all served in premium Riedel glassware to enhance every tasting experience.
