Crous & Carstens: Springbok Nude Girls Unplugged | Live at Bushman's River Town Hall
Wed Aug 26, 17:30 - Wed Aug 26, 21:00
Bushman's Town Hall
ABOUT
Some partnerships are written into South African music history. Arno Carstens and Theo Crous have been making music together for more than 30 years, ever since a chance meeting in Bellville in the early '90s sparked what would become one of the country's most influential rock bands.
As founding members of Springbok Nude Girls, they helped shape the sound of a generation, creating songs that are still sung back at every show. From Blue Eyes and Bubblegum on My Boots to Illuminate and beyond, their music has stood the test of time.
For this special unplugged performance, the volume comes down and the stories come to the front. Expect stripped-back versions of Springbok Nude Girls favourites, songs from their solo careers, the odd surprise, and the kind of stories that only come from three decades of friendship, touring and making music together.
This isn't just another acoustic show. It's an evening spent with two musicians revisiting the songs that shaped their lives—and ours.
One night only at Bushman's River Town Hall.
